The World Elders Forum: An International Forum for Traditional Rulers and Indigenous Leaders

In accordance with its mission of fostering a culture of peace among, between and within ethnic and religious groups in countries around the world, ICERM established the World Elders Forum (WEF) strictly for traditional rulers and leaders of indigenous groups.

Members of the World Elders Forum are legitimate and recognized traditional rulers and leaders of indigenous groups from many countries around the world. They see gains in the use of customary laws and traditional systems and processes of conflict resolution for peaceful settlement of disputes, conflict prevention & mediation, dialogue, and other nonviolent methods of conflict resolution, and are strongly committed to improving their skills in order to continue to promote a culture of peace in their respective communities, kingdoms, states, regions, and countries.
